Goal 3 – RwandaGOAL 3 provides IMPALA, a ward-based patient monitoring and decision-support system – multi-parameter monitors, local server and tablet app – built for offline use and integration with national systems to standardize early detection and response in neonatal, pediatric and maternity care. Grounded – KenyaGrounded creates biodegradable cleaning and personal care products from locally farmed ingredients, combining retail, e-commerce, and white-label partnerships to promote sustainable living and reduce chemical pollution. Kayko Ltd – RwandaKayko Group provides affordable digital financial tools and point-of-sale systems that help African MSMEs digitize operations and gain financial visibility. Through subscriptions and hardware sales, it facilitates credit access and moves businesses into the formal economy. Marula Proteen Ltd. – RwandaMarula Proteen converts urban organic waste into, high-quality, sustainable protein-rich animal feed and nutrient-rich organic fertilizer using Black Soldier Fly larvae. They tackle waste management, produce sustainable agricultural inputs and create local employment. Its primary mission is to modernize and streamline the supply chain for informal, small-scale retailers across Africa, using data-driven insights to improve market access for brands and increase efficiency for shop owners. Tanlake Samaki Limited (known as Tanganyika Blue) – TanzaniaAlso known as Tanganyika Blue is a sustainable aquaculture company in Tanzania focused on farming native Tanganyika Tilapia in cages within Lake Tanganyika. Its primary goal is to reduce pressure on wild fish stocks, which have declined due to overfishing and climate change, while providing a sustainable protein source for the local population. ZanaAfrica Group Ltd – KenyaZana Africa is a social enterprise based in Kenya that empowers women and girls through a combined approach of providing safe, affordable, and eco-friendly sanitary pads alongside reproductive health education.
