Jikonnect is a Kenya-based, community-driven digital platform that connects skilled workers to local customers in a safe, simple, and trusted way. We serve essential service categories including cleaning, caregiving, plumbing, electrical work, mechanics, casual labour, social support, and beauty & wellness services.
The problem we address is a fragmented informal service market where skilled workers lack visibility and stable access to jobs, while households and small businesses struggle to find reliable, vetted service providers. Jikonnect solves this by onboarding and organizing local skills, improving trust, and matching them to nearby demand through WhatsApp-first and web-based workflows.
Revenue is generated through commissions on completed jobs, role-based pricing, negotiated service bids, and weekly or monthly service retainers. This flexible model reflects how services are actually delivered and allows us to monetize both one-off and recurring demand.
