Sinc.Earth Permanent carbon removal through enhanced rock weathering in Ghana

Cover image of Sinc.Earth, Agribusiness venture on VC4A

Sinc.Earth removes CO₂ permanently by spreading finely crushed basalt on smallholder farms in Ghana. This accelerates a natural geological process called Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW), which locks carbon into the soil for 10,000+ years while improving soil fertility and crop yields.

We generate verified carbon credits sold to corporates seeking high-permanence CDR.

Ghana offers ideal conditions: tropical climate, abundant local basalt, a large agricultural base, and no existing ERW projects. We are the first mover in West Africa.

Our pilot has launched at Kwadaso Agricultural College, following carbon certification protocols. The founding team combines on-the-ground West Africa experience with a PhD in ERW from Wageningen University.
