Aikon Farms is a climate-smart agricultural venture located in Edo State, Nigeria, specializing in high-value medicinal herbs (Gotu Kola, Tulsi, and Lemon Balm) for the global pharmaceutical and wellness export markets. The Nigerian agricultural sector is currently crippled by a reliance on high-volume, low-margin crops (like cassava) and devastating post-harvest losses due to poor cold-chain logistics and grid failure. Aikon Farms solves this by vertically integrating cultivation and processing at the farm gate. Our 1-hectare pilot facility utilizes water-efficient A-Frame aeroponic towers to maximize yield per square meter while mitigating soil-borne pathogens. Crucially, we bypass the need for cold-chain logistics entirely by deploying zero-emission Solar Dehydrators and commercial pulverizers on-site.
